Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Tara Supported Independent Living (SIL) service enables participants to live as independently as possible in a safe, relaxed, and comfortable home environment. Our team works closely with each person to understand their goals, preferences, and daily requirements. Support includes personal care, meal preparation, household chores, and community engagement. With genuine care and consistency, we help participants thrive, build confidence, and maintain overall well-being.

In-Home Care

Tara In-Home Care service provides personalised support, allowing participants to maintain independence within the comfort and familiarity of their home. Assistance includes meal preparation, cleaning, medication management, and personal care, all delivered with genuine compassion. Our team ensures a positive, safe, and nurturing environment, giving both participants and their families peace of mind.

Community Access

Tara’s Community Access service empowers participants to engage with their community, form connections, and explore personal interests. With reliable support, they can attend social events, join clubs, visit attractions, and take part in recreational or educational activities. These experiences enhance well-being, reduce isolation, and build confidence, helping participants thrive in a more connected and active lifestyle.

Personal Care

The Personal Care service supports participants with daily personal care needs, ensuring comfort, dignity, and independence. Assistance includes bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility, always provided with respect and sensitivity. With an experienced and compassionate team, we tailor support to each individual’s needs, fostering a sense of control, confidence, and quality of life.

Transport

Transport services provide safe, reliable, and stress-free travel, ensuring participants can attend appointments, social events, and community activities with ease. Whether for medical visits, daily errands, or outings, our trained drivers prioritise safety and well-being, helping participants stay connected and engaged in everyday life.

Meal Preparation

At Tara Independent Living, we believe that food is more than just fuel—it’s a foundation for well-being, stability, and dignity. That’s why we proudly provide complimentary, balanced, and nutritious meals as part of our core support. Every meal is thoughtfully prepared to promote energy, health, and enjoyment—bringing peace of mind to families and a sense of normalcy and satisfaction to everyday life.

Short Term Accommodation (STA) / Respite

The STA program provides a safe, welcoming, and engaging short-term stay experience. Participants enjoy a refreshing change of scenery, participate in social and recreational activities, and build connections in a supportive setting. Caregivers receive much-needed respite, knowing their loved ones are in caring, capable hands. With a focus on comfort, engagement, and empowerment, our STA program fosters positive experiences for both participants and their families.

At Tara Independent Living, we follow the NDIS Price Guide, ensuring all services are charged at approved rates - no hidden fees.

Our innovative model lets participants retain their full DSP and personal income, while still receiving high-quality NDIS supports.

We provide clear Service Agreements upfront, so you always know what supports you’ll receive and how your funding is used.
